Current Favourites

I have been loving a variety of different products over the past month or so and continuously find myself reaching for them. They must be good if I keep going back to use them so today’s menu is a cocktail of beauty bits that I just have to tell you about…

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow

This is fairly new to my makeup bag and oh boy has it swiftly become a favourite. If you want a beautiful contour and highlight and all in one easy compact look no further. I can’t describe how amazing this product is; the colour pigment, the quality, the longevity. Application is so smooth and you instantly see how it lifts and shapes your face.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum

A couple of months ago I decided to start using a serum as well as my usual moisturiser to really inject more nutrients into my lacklustre skin. Serums penetrate the skin better than your normal moisturisers do so using them together helps to soak in all the product deeper. I really like this milky Caudalie serum because it has a light texture and it’s easy to apply using the pipette applicator. It soaks quickly into the skin leaving you with a beautiful glow and a brighter  complexion.

Real Techniques Setting Brush

I’m kind of obsessed with using this brush to blend in my concealer at the moment, it’s not the type of brush I would typically go for, but the long and fluffy bristles means that it really works to blend the concealer in nicely on the face giving it a flawless look.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

If you are looking for a creamy concealer that’s easy to apply and really helps to cover up those bags and highlight slightly then this one is great. It’s lightweight texture blends seamlessly onto the skin making anywhere it has been applied a lot lighter and brighter.

Lanolips Hand cream

Don’t be fooled by the name, this is actually for your hands. I’ve never been one for handcreams because I always find that the cream sits on the surface, doesn’t soak in and you are left feeling sticky. This one however soaks in instantly and really does help to moisturise those paws!

Nars Sheerglow Foundation

I had always wanted to try this foundation and this past month I finally got it. I find this foundation a dream to apply, its velvety texture covers the skin evenly soaking into the skin so that it appears like it is your own skin rather than sitting on top. If I am honest it is not as sheer as the name would suggest as it provides a good medium coverage, but it does leave a glowy look.

I’ve always wanted to try the nars foundation but it doesn’t sell in Ireland and the shipping is so expensive that I would need to sell my left arm just to bring it over haha

Oh no haha, well as soon as you go anywhere that does sell it you must get it 🙂

Hi! I’ve always wanted to try the nars foundation, but it’s a bit pricey 😩 would you say it’s worth the price?

Hey, I know it’s crazy for just one foundation! However yes I would, I think it’s one of my favourite foundations i have ever tried. When you apply it goes on so smoothly (I use a zoeva stippling brush) the pigment is amazing and it has great longevity!

That’s great to know, thank you! 🙂

I use the wake me up concealer and i think it is brilliant. If anyone is interested in an alternative version of the Nars Sheer Glow, Rimmel Wake me up foundation is my current favourite and is cheaper too! 🙂
